This week i am going to be house/ dog sitting. That may not sound impressive but i am very, very happy that i was asked to do this. I am going to make some cash to help pay for school books for next semester! Yay!
Today i met the dogs i am going to be taking care of Morgan and Domino. They are similar personality wise to my dogs. I love them. I love dogs! I forgot to ask about wifi though... whoops so i don't know if i will have internet on my laptop. sigh... I was told they have a guest account on their computer but you know my laptop is well... my computer haha. I like my computer. So next week i will be doing basically the same thing i have all summer except in a different house! I think i will walk some dogs, workout, read, sleep, you know all the finer things in life.
Also i STILL have not gotten that scanner from my friend!! It has been over a month now. The other day she finally called me and said she left the cord to hook it up to the computer at her boyfriend's house. Although i won't see her this week since i am house sitting ^^ I made a facebook status about my desperation for a scanner. another friend of mine suggested I come over and use her scanner. Which i think i will because i am soooo tired of not being able to upload inked comic pages or character designs!
One last thing, I feel like recently there has been so much death and negativity around. In case you don't read the news MJ and Farrah Fawcett passed away today. In my quaint, little suburban town (bahaha not) we have had a string of tragity these past few weeks ranging from murder to car accidents. Then on a global scale there is still unrest in Iran and so many other places over the globe.
It is really in these circumstances that one is reminded that we are fragile. Our lives are over before we have even really begun! Every breath we are given is really a gift from God, something that can be used to impact others if we choose to do so.
